Our guest lounge is a favourite gathering room to relax around the cosy open fire, exchange travel stories and share the days photos. A place of relaxed ambience and easy conversation. Awatuna Homestead also offers the option of exclusively prepared dinners for guests, if you would like to make a dinner reservation ensure at least 48 hours notice.

Set within extensive country gardens are secluded areas and seating. Guests can relax amongst the native ferns and birdsong with a delicious wine and experience the stunning West Coast sunset skies.

Your hosts love to cook with freshly grown vegetables from their greenhouse, when available, and local New Zealand meat and fish. We aim to provide a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for evening dining at the Homestead for a satisfying and pleasant end to our guests’ busy days of travelling and adventures.
